I'm going through withdrawal. Where else can I offend so many people at once?

Better dead than posting at Cruisers Forum.

The last post I read was some obnoxious political post from Two Legs. That must have done it.

Hell, you folks don't qualify to be offended, nobody here is a fuckwit. And I'm not sure SA is fixable.

Oh, just one where she slips in the claim that the EU is a post-bellum except for rogue states like the UK and US and therefore morally superior. The usual OT shitposting.

So dead for 20hrs now...

I just don’t engage with certain folks the second the BS drift stops. Since the election, the PA crowd has lost their way so is turning everything political whenever they can. My post to read ratio is down significantly as I choose not to roll in the gutter with the pigs.

The signal-to-noise varies greatly. I still learned something important from Evans a couple days ago about harnesses and recently I have been enjoying the threads in CA on cruising in Maine.

TL never posts in PA and instead chooses to exploit the mostly more polite CA norms.

I still skim SA and there are still good discussions to be found. However, I have found myself a lot quicker with the ignore user function than I used to be and I put TL on ignore a month or so back. Too much high and mighty crap and zero self awareness.

She used to be much more tolerable, but now she's got Covid Cabin Fever or something.
Although I do remember her having a raving battle with Dylan a few years ago...

I recall her being quite vocal about some defect in Leo's (Tally Ho) character that she was able to deduce entirely from his accent. WTF?

I missed that, but I don't follow the Tally Ho thread. Not surprised.

The Vendee Globe discussion was very informative, mostly because some people were following the race closely and posting stuff from the skipper's twitter feeds. Somewhere Boris Hermann was posting realtime data about his boat, including loads on the rig and other data I did not even know they tracked, and it was re-posted on SA. Otherwise, it is rare that I get useful info from it.

Down again. Scot's got his hands full with this. I wonder if this is normal flakiness or bad actors with ransom thoughts.

They are still up, or back up, but in this weird middle ground of not quite right. In one of the threads Scot mentioned that they are in the middle of an upgrade and it will get back to normal, or at least normal for an upgrade.

Random Pic thread is broken though. It will be a sad day if they can't get that back up again...

It's always way better to have multiple alibis.
