Just watched this on the telly, The Able Tasman National Park is generally where we go on the boat, not a big place but not a bad place either, The Nelson lake's, well yea, two hours drive from home and I've never spent much time there,

Had to laugh at some of the footage, like people walking up the track on Adel Is, there are signs on the beach saying there are no tracks, I know where that track is, my boy loves it.

You live in a beautiful place. My wife and I along with another couple spent two weeks wandering around the south island and had a wonderful time. We have lots of great pictures and can't wait to go back someday.

My kids and I did the Hollyford walk and then spend a week further up the coast in the NZ Alps hiking a few of the peaks and glaciers. It is, without doubt, some of the most beautiful countryside in the world! Every bit as a beautiful as the French/Italian Alps or the Siera Nevada.
