Eye Candy

Prowling through my Youtube links, found this. The music is beyond blah, you could turn it off except it keeps the beat. However, the fun is all visual and I enjoyed the thinking behind this and I wanted to share. So there.

Fantastic find. Loved the first one. The second has me thinking ...wth? , but in an amused tone. Very entertaining, and both videos caused me to pause one and watch in childlike wonder.

That was great fun Ish. I love Rube Goldberg contraptions. Whoever worked out the speed and timing, dinging and chiming of the second vid must be a mad genius. Thanks.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but I'm guessing the sounds were put in by a foley artist after the film was made. The car is only approximating the timing of the sound and not actually generating them, but I could be wrong. I've been wrong before....

OK Go has always done some clever kinetic videos. The budget had gone up for each subsequent one. Here's the first one they did when they were just starting out. Low budget, highly creative.
