Brings back memories -- I was driving our drummer to the airport because he had to leave the state in a hurry. VW bus, bass amp in the back, and no brakes. I didn't have to crash though, since the parking brake worked well enough to bring us to a gentle halt. I suppose that stop sign I drove into and snapped off might have slowed us down a little...
By the way, let me thank everyone who is participating in this amazing thread. You folks have a humbling combination of brilliance, experience, and attitude. I'm happy to just be able to listen in.
