I'm sure the little league team will enjoy them.

If Beau is a little league coach, maybe he will understand.

S'ok. My latest waste of Honduran mahogany is a Collings 290 electric guitar, built nearby in Austin, TX. That wood was well wasted, indeed.

I don't know the guitar, is it a hollow body? solid body? I guess I could google it if I wasn't floating around trying to use a phone while driving MAYAN. :)

It's Collings take on the Les Paul Special, single cutaway, solid slab body with 2 P-90 pickups. In this case, the P-90's are by Jason Lollar, the build quality is what you would expect from Collings - flawless. Amazing tones, I may have a new best friend.

Only a Texan would call Austin "nearby" to Midland.

Thanks!

Ever since I was a pup I've lusted after a hollow boy Guild base. They are the closest you can get to an upright bass for sound, but have the easy of travel of an electric guitar. I hate to admit it, but my fingers are slower than they used to be, and make these occasional hitches that cause me to be late with notes... grrrr.....

I think my lead guitar playing days are long gone.
