For Your Christmas Listening Pleasure

Sadly, not as classy as having Jess play her horn in your living room, but still great to listen to.

1. Dave Cooks the Turkey. Even though recently published in 2005 it's become an instant Canadian Christmas classic. It's the story of hapless Dave and what happens when he forgets to cook the turkey on Christmas Day. Story starts at 5:40 or so--you can see the break in the scroll bar.

2. The Shepherd. Frederick Forsyth's short story as read by Alan Maitland. Another Canadian radio tradition--played every year at this time. Alan passed away in 1999--still no better version out there to listen to.

Merry Christmas everyone!!
