It's covers of American blues songs, including a couple from Little Walter, a favorite of mine, and one by Magic Sam. It's the record they should have made a decade ago. They are really a good blues band, and Jagger's voice fits the material. In the sixties they covered Muddy Waters' Can't be Satisfied, and to many blues players that is still the definitive version of the song. Playing blues, at least, they still have it.

Women like Sara and Sayaka Shoji almost make me believe there is a god. From where else could creatures as lovely and gifted arise?
Afflicting her with MS....not so much with the belief.

His daughter used to be, maybe still is, a good friend of Meine Frau. Tough guy to have for a pere, tell you one thing.

For whatever reason, "Angel From Montgomery" always chokes me up...... love the version by Bonnie Raitt with John Prine. I'm a huge admirer of Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks; what an incredible family... then add Grace Potter, a flute and a segue into a great Dead tune puts this arrangement completely over the top:

Fleischer's problem is tragic, but not on the same order. He could still play one-handed. He was one of the first musicians treated for focal dystonia with botox and got it here.
