Many moons ago with braincells now far away, I worked in food service as a waiter, then bartender. Can't imagine going back there today no matter how bad my personal situation. (ok, maybe bartending at a cool sailing bar would be worth researching)

The one I like the best is couples in restaurants who are obviously on a date who are both lost in their phones. Maybe it's natures response to overpopulation.

To me, the whole phone thing is a vivid demonstration that the average IQ is only one point out of double digits - they are like crows attracted to shiny things.

A sailing acquaintance of mine spends most of his time on his I-Phone when we are out sailing. WTF?

When I see people taking photos of their food I think that they must have a real sad life.
