I've participated in this three times, but only succeeded once. I intend to succeed again this year. The formula for success is to do this for an hour each day in the morning. I was able to crank out 2000-3000 words a day.
If you've ever wanted to write a book, this is a huge motivator. Get it done in a month.
I have a tentative title: "A Posthistoric Diary".
