Thanks Tim. I rank the Spitfire right up there with the XKE as one of the most beautiful machines man has made.

I can't get the link to embed, but Jeremy Clarkson said "the most beautiful THING I've ever seen" (I know, I know, about the Eagle).
Oh, and Spitfires fly by at the end. Absolutely worth a look.

Fortunately, a wheels up landing on sod often results in repairable flap and cowling damage plus a prop and a precautionary engine/gearbox change/teardown. Looks like the pilot did a credible job is greasing that one in.
