Falmouth in July

Strangely as a New Englander I've never been to Falmouth. I've been past it, many times on land and sea, but never in it. Thanks to a C420 regatta July 21-24 and some college visits, I'll be there for a couple of days.
Any recommendations? 3 days of staring at 420s through binoculars is not so appealing.
I need fried clams, good beer and raw oysters, clams...etc.. all the stuff I don't get normally.

Don't miss the "steamers", which to me is the only way to eat clams on the Cape.
There's a visitor center at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute that might be worthwhile.

Ah, for all the steamers I dug up as a kid, I totally forgot about those.
