Thanks, Joe. It's vaguely comforting to be known as America's Hat.

Canada day is very important to me. I attended a Canada Day party in 1967 (their centennial) and met this very interesting gal. She is sitting next to me as I type this. 49 great years together (48 married on July 6th.)

I love Canada Day!! Thank you for having it.

Next year it's 150 years for Canada - can you believe that much time has passed?

I got my drivers license in the Centennial year and I'll be officially a pensioner in the 150th year.

And 50 wonderful years with Susan (49 married to her shortly there after.) Sometimes I just get lucky.

It was a great day--here we are playing for the guns in Stanley Park. Barrel is pointed right at my condo. What could go wrong!

Remember when someone put a rock or something in the 9 o'clock gun and it shot through the sign on the floating gas dock? :D

Funny but not so funny as well.

Memorable anyway.
