Scantlings

Not that I really cared that much, since I was out boating. No wind, sunny and warm...motored over to a nice white shell beach and dropped the hook, sat there all afternoon shooting the shit with a friend. Forecast is for thunderstorms and Armageddon type stuff tonight, we'll see.

There is a Facebook group that was formed to yap about stuff while SA was down. I guess that's a sign of sporadic service.

I think they need to move on from Honest Frank's Laundry, Pizza and Web Services.

It's a real step backwards in some ways. Posting images is much harder, nested quotes no longer show up, etc.

However, even with Adblock I now get banner ads at the top of forum pages. Bah.

I tried to log in but it said my password was incorrect (it wasn"t). I then tried to reset my password but after several hours had not received the response email so then I tried to contact them and have not heard back, again after several hours.

Ish, as you probably already know, it's a war between ad-blockers and websites trying to sell ads. The websites typically have more money, so they are busy working their way around the various blockers. This is one of my primary reasons for paying for content - removing the ads.

If your sign is is different than you display name, then they want you to use the old sign in, not the display name as it says in the box. Of course, the old sign in is now your user name.

The correct answer is, "no I don't remember that."
