Sad news. David Crosby passed away. Beyond his gifts of so much great music, he was a sailor. And we’ve enjoyed a vicarious relationship with him via Beau’s Mayan adventure.

Yesterday was a sad day..... MAYAN wouldn't be here today without his affection and treasure. He saved her at least three times over the 46 years he owned her. She was 22 years old when he bought her, and in need of a lot of planks and beams. That was just the beginning.

David's musical work was amazing and some of his song remain my favorites of all time. The link below is an audio on YouTUBE that is haunting and beautiful. I think he was only 18 or 19 when he wrote "Burned". I've been playing it since I was about 16. It's a wonderful song. He played it for us in Santa Barbara once, it made me cry.
