Christmas in April

Postby Britches » Fri Apr 19, 2013 6:15 pm

So besides the fact that MN looks like a winter wonderland, today felt a little like Christmas for me. I'm in the process of updating my sailing wardrobe with wool base layers of different weights. I came across this thing made by airblaster- a ninja suit. It came in the mail today and I'm already pretty confident that this is the best purchase I've ever made. Seriously cool.

We are having some sailing friends over tonight for dinner and if I get drunk enough I may put it back on...if pictures happen I'll be sure to post one so you can see the glory that is the ninja suit...

Anyone else get anything exciting for the upcoming season?

Got a set of the very fancy brand bibs for 200 bucks at at a local sale. I'll gladly post a pic, topless, but I doubt there's much demand.

Stacy,

I'd never seen a Ninja suit before - very cool. I'm probably going to get one for The Admiral and for me for skiing next winter. Did you get the wool one or the plastic one??

Wool-all the way. And yes, I put it on last night and successfully sold another ninja suit to what I'm sure will be a very happy customer. Then the gin and tonics came out and I ended up sleeping in it, which I'm sure my husband was thrilled about lol. I however slept exceptionally well...

Stacy, thanks for the lead on the Ninja - it really looks like the "onesie" we put our granddaughter in, only missing the feet. On ocean races around here I basically put on at least that much before the start and leave it on until after the finish. Wool is the only way to go. I'll check one out, and probably get one. Now, do I get camo, black, decisions decisions..... :?
