You sure that's C&C? That's riveted on...C&C used Robertson screws...I smell a rat.

Sure looks like my tag, though. Good imitation for Chinese.

We will rest the blame on Aurora cars for using rivets.You are an observant individual. The owner of the 289 Slab side Aurora company made some money selling the rights to the name to GM for their AURORA car. I like this car much better. Makes you wonder if you have a mishap and this car hits the water what will her rating be ? :lol:

The Aurora Cobras were pretty nice cars - there were a couple of them around here back in the day. I never knew about the C&C connection.

As for the riveted tag - it's faster than screwing it down and more reliable when there's a lot of vibration.
