Scantlings

There's a high chance work will be sending me to Dublin for the first week of October. By day I'll be supporting the launch of our application there, but I'm wondering if anyone here knows the town and has any tips on must-sees, etc. I'm hoping to take the weekend to run around as well. I'd also love to get out on the water there, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

I was in Dublin about 5 years ago and loved it! The people were very friendly, I enjoyed exploring the streets and admiring the varied styles of architecture and it had the best live music. I will try and find my travel log for the names of the pubs we enjoyed.
I didn't do any sailing, but there are plenty of yacht and sailing clubs in the vicinity. Have a fantastic time, Alex
