phpBB update coming

Hey Everyone,

Finally tracked down Alex and got login info for the backend of the site. This is an important step necessary for updating PHPBB to the latest stable version.

Planning on updating in the next week or so. During that time, the system will be down (hopefully briefly) so I'll do it in the wee smalls. I will give a 24hr notice beforehand. Alex will back everything up so if we hit a snag he'll be able to roll it back.

Great to see people are still here.

Hope you guys haven't been holding your breath

I may actually not be sailing this weekend so may actually, possible, by chance update the board this weekend. If that doesn't work, the admiral will be out of town for a couple of weeks and I likely won't be single-handing Soñadora as I'd have to take the pups and my 15 y.o.-going-on-32 y.o. daughter with me. She's too cool for that.

I would like to update to the very latest major version of phpBB but my tests so far show that we'll lose the aesthetic. Will keep investigating.
Otherwise, we will be at the latest sub-version which should alleviate some of the security measures I've put in place (like no self registration).
