If manual, I might want to track down the ROM. If slushie, maybe someone over there has figured out how to it to handle more power. The US never got an automatic transmission, so no one has developed a valve-kit or cracked the TCU. Maybe someone has an answer in OZ/NZ.

Cheers,
Jamie

US Spec B's are all 6 speeds with a dial a fun adjustable engine map switch and torsen LSD. All sedans with a low wing spoiler.

Yeah, it's my understanding that the US LGT never got the 5EAT. That's my biggest obstacle to moving forward.

No, thanks for the lead. We mostly work open source, but it would be interesting to see what they have done. We hear rumours of 400whp 5th gen 5EAT cars in Oz.

Auto gearbox Jamie. After a lifetime of driving manual cars an old kid age injury has been haunting my left knee and stop start town traffic has me driving an auto for the first time in a couple of decades. The last car was a 2002 Holden SS with LS1 and 6 speed manual. They're easy because they're detuned from the factory. All that needed was cleaned up air in , exhaust and a laptop tune and 400 hp easy. All it had for driver aids was ABS and traction control that didn't work properly so I always had that off. Drove like a good ole muscle car except it managed corners quite well, for a family mans corvette that is.
