Scantlings is back up

Postby RickB » Wed Aug 13, 2025 10:31 pm

For the handful of you who still come around here, I managed to get the site back up.

We really do need to update, but it's a bit of a challenge. I will need to carve out some time to do this.

I thank you as well. I'd be sad if it went away...

Good heavens this place is still active
This morning I finished my last chemo treatment of six months of daily chemo and might actually show up once in a while.
However, if no one even remember who I am I would understand

Kim, very good to see you here and happy to hear that you've finished your chemo treatments. Hopefully the prognosis is good.

Overall, It's been pretty quiet around here for awhile now and I was afraid that the site finally died after being offline for a week or so, but Rick fixed it and it's still here. I'm glad that it is.

Hi Andy,

Seth and I were talking the other day and he told me about the outage so I though it a good time to check in and see what was up. I plan to show up now that I am done with that six months! I do have some radiation to do in the next month or so and then just a matter of getting my life back.

Cheers,
Kim

Wonderful to see your post, Kim.

I've been so far up in my own business that I've been disconnected the last year. Started a new business and it's sputting on the ground. Fortunately there's enough interest in it that I was able to transfer assets to someone who will be able to grow the brand. So unlike my other failed attempts, this one's not dead yet!
