I have a large collection of shackles without pins, and pins without shackles, collected from the bows of many, many race boats. Whenever something blew up during a race, I would catch whatever pieces didnt go overboard. Over the years I amassed a random collection. Still hoping for the day I can match a pin with shackle....

My christmas tree ornaments are held on by 1.5mm dyneema left over opti sail gaskets.

Now THAT is hard core!
