Maybe you could get David to sing backup. :D

And of course, Beau will be wearing his Canada rugby shirt.

Britches and Jess, I don't have one of those shirts, but I saw the photo of it, and thought it was perfect for the thread. Fun shirt for racing! Britches, hope you are feeling great. Must be only about 4 more months 'til Baby Britches appears?! : ))

My CANADA shirt is nice and clean, my singing voice sucks (stuffy nose), and as soon as I can find a moment away from my teaching duties this weekend I will absolutely MURDER the Canadian National Anthem. Murder in a bad sense, not a good one. I'll give it my best.

Fortunately, DavidC will have nothing to do with the upcoming debacle.

Now that Canada has won, we only need to ensure this will happen ...

I heard the USA team had bet to dump Bieber on Finland, but unfortunately it looks like they will be keeping him.. Finland 5-0

I have no idea how one posts a video on the internet or here or anywhere, so I just emailed one with me signing (very badly) O'Canada to Tim and Lin with copies to Bob and Beau.

So I have paid up and as not the last to do so I have no obligation to house Justin Bieber.

Someone else will have to look after him.

I am very impressed by Kim's effort and show of good sportsmanship! In such a timely fashion, as well.

Beau, I hope you have a spare room to house the Bieber! Perhaps he likes to sail?! :~)

Beau, are you taking voice lessons? Auditioning with a musician?

The longer we wait, the higher our expectations will be. ; )

Congrats on the double win Canada. I am also anxiously awaiting Beau's video...

And yes Lin, I'm feeling great! Just hit the 26 week mark, enjoying the last of the 2nd trimester while I can :)

OK, I waited as long as I could - my head is still stopped up so I'm flat on some notes - ouch!! But, I suppose the entire point is to be embarrassed about this, after all we lost!!

My wife says that I can't hold a tune. After listening to my rendition of Oh Canada, I agree. Evidence burned to prevent an international incident. Beau and Kim - you are on your own. Wimp I am, I am! Pat

Edit - Beau, I bow to your form and style - a 10 point performance - well done!

Hats off, Beau! I'm glad I didn't have to attack the US anthem, I only have a one-octave range.

Not bad, Beau!

I have a paralyzed vocal cord and those who know me will tell you my voice is a hoarse squeak, so they are spared my singing, these days.

Beau, I didn't play the video, you looked uncomfortable enough in the Canada jersey.
I am hunting for a wallaby one, the real ones are now tight fitting and short sleeve, complicated by a change of manufacturers this season.
When I find a traditional one I will pounce.

Beau, well done!! Has David been giving voice lessons? Kim & Beau, I am duly impressed by your efforts and show of good sportsmanship.

Like OM, I too have a husky voice, and I could not do half as well as you have both done.

OH,

I'm not uncomfortable in the shirt! I'm uncomfortable as hell having my nose and ears stuffed up so I can't hear myself! I wince when I hear it, but there you go. It's supposed to be embarrassing, if it wasn't we wouldn't have a real bet now would we!?

Anyway, I look forward to expanding my collection of rugby shirts. If you care for one of ours I'll get you one. I found the same thing. These kids today run around in skin tight short sleeve things that look like soccer shirts! Yuck!

Well done Beau. Its better that we won rather than some other country, at least you had a shot at the lyrics and could carry the tune. Your an honorable statesman. Now back to our regular NHL programing.

I am glad I don't know how to post a video, I was not nearly as good as Beau, the steward of an Alden schooner!

Speaking of National anthems and hockey- no one does it like Rene Rancourt. Beau, you need to work on the fist pumps.
