Gotta say, yuppies or not, Annapolis is our favourite town in the US so far.

I am weak on the social taxonomy of generations X and beyond. Yuppies were professionals by definition and I may have been one. I'm not at all sure these people do anything so easily definable.

A new restaurant which my wife really enjoyed is Blackwall Hitch (named after the knot), so it's definitely recommended (though I have yet to visit). Right over the Spa Creek bridge from downtown.

Definitely do a meet-up next time you (or any other Scantlingers) are in town !
If you are looking for a great place to relax and view the scenic Chesapeake, Eastport Yacht Club is reciprocal with just about all clubs. The drinks are strong and the prices reasonable. Not a bad walk, or you can take the water taxi over for a few bucks.
