Post pictures of general interest.

I'll start.

During my year in RVN, I had R&R in Hong Kong. I took this picture from a tour boat going around the harbor. It shows a floating shipyard in the Floating City of Kowloon. (Not sure exactly how express that). I just read a book set in Hong Kong, and apparently the floating city still exists. You can see piles of wood and other supplies in the foreground, and a boat up out of the water.

Great photo - please share more!

99% gone. The gubmint moved most of those people to flats. Only a few still live on boats scattered in places like Aberdeen and only because they want to.

Going to add some canvas and trim tabs.
Maybe a lightweight Tee Top too.

Fishing fleet is constructed and serviced, just above high water. Moored on beach.

Beautiful boats.

No. Mine is a set of basalt formations on the South coast of Iceland. The two silhouetted figures on the right are my daughter and her boyfriend.

Yours looks like the PNW. Where is it?

My backyard, about 20 feet from our back porch. This was last year when the cubs were about five
months old. These three were in the yard again last week. Cubs stay with their mother for two years.

We see at least a bear per week in the yard this time of year.

Love the collar on the mom, I take it you have to leash her up when you walk her?

The worst part is carrying the poop bag during the walk.

The schooner Bill Of Rights in Fishers Island Sound. I think it was her first year, maybe her second. circa 1973-74. She is now home-ported in Chula Vista, CA.

One doesn't get a chance to take a picture like this very often. This is a scan of a print that has been on my wall for several decades.
