Do you have any idea what a hassle it is trying to claim one of those money-back things? ...especially from the 30s, or whatever?

There are people that can predict what sex your baby will be when it is born, from a picture of you or pretty much anything you want to give them. They offer a money back guarantee if they are wrong and cheerfully pay up . . . . . . . . about half the time.

Brilliant business model.

Damn, I thought the cone heads of SNL were "original" - clearly the were not ;)

I also love the "Free product, shipping and handling of $12,99" The product costs about $1 to make, real shipping and handling is about $4, and the gross margin is better than Apple Comptuer.

"as seen on TV" and "But wait. There's more!" comes to mind.

Then there is this. What would Bloomberg say?

And that might have been when Coca Cola had cocaine as one of its "active ingredients."

"active" is probably exactly the right word for it!

The cola ad seems a little bogus. Is it legit?

He also had a pair that were brown suede and alligator. No, he wasn't a pimp, rather he was born in 1905. My little sister was born when he was 51, so I guess he had a pair.
