Apologies to our Canadian brethren and cisterns, but a giant congrats to the Red Savages* of the city on the Cuyahoga (formerly named Rio del Fuego).

A large, erect middle finger to the baseball "fans" of Taronto, for their churlish behavior when the Orioles were up there. Oh, and may you rest in the cellar for the next two decades of MLB standings.

A very close relative of mine, one might call her a sibling, worked for the Orioles in the late 80's early 90's. She scored two seats for the final, crucial 3-game series one year, to be played in The Dome. We flew up. The Blue Jays fans were wonderful, even picked up a tab for us a pricey eatery in the center of town. I remember leaving with a fond feeling for the place.

Cut to 2016 (or earlier) where, seemingly, the culture and mindset of the Philadelphia Flyers has become the new Zeitgeist for Toronto baseball fans. Well, I hate to over-generalize about any one, given, population, but in a word or two: GET STUFFED.

So okay, see y'all in 2017 and give me a shout when the Jays come to Balto.

Cheers,

GO INDIANS! (or Go Native Americans for those of you who feel affected by a micro-aggession...I think this fellow Doug Cardinal might be on to something)

Weird, there's someone who'll complain about anything, when there are much bigger fish to fry. Ironic that the Indians play at Progressive Field.

No irony in the Jays playing in the Rogers Center. (Rogers Communications grabbed the "naming" rights five years after they bought the team in 2000)

The fans in the bleachers were quite communicative in expressing their racist views toward our African-American center fielder and Korean left fielder.
What the hell is going on in Toronto?

Our son went to Case Western in Cleveland, so we've been rooting for the Indians.

Amazing but true, there are nice areas of Cleveland.
