Convert Frankie to a lifting keel.
"Problem" solved. Sheesh.
I put my bill in the mail.

Don't laugh, a lifting keel was discussed early on in the design process. We decided we really did not need it on the Salish Sea.

I was thinking that a backhoe could dig a nice dry dock berth for her into our backyard, but the City doesn't think that is a good idea. They are real spoilsports.
There is a house in Port Madison with one, they got it through by calling it a saltwater swimming pool. But it was build (dug) many years ago. It is pretty much abandoned now.
Of course in as much as FRANCIS is just intended as a daysailer, maybe a pilothouse boat would be better for the trip down the coast to Santa Cruz.
(Maybe I should talk to Bob and see what could be done along those lines with less draft.)
